I love Christmas. The decorations are usually up early, and I fill the evenings with Christmas movies and wrapping presents. One of my favorite parts about the Christmas season is checking the mail everyday and finding hand-addressed envelopes with Christmas cards inside. I love photo cards, and so I try hard to send one out every year. This year, I got on it early, and I had my cards mailed out right after Thanksgiving. I love a custom-designed card, so that’s what I always do. It’s fun knowing your card is unique….and given what I do for a living, it would be sad to pick out a stock card at Walmart (not that I’m looking down on those who do!). Since I don’t do a Christmas letter, I like to highlight things that happened during the year in photos. This year we had Pierce dedicated at church, celebrated his first birthday party and celebrated our eighth anniversary. It’s too late this year to offer a free-card giveaway, which is what I intended to do. Sad. So I’ll work on that for next year!
